Am i the only one who doesn't hear anything?

ORI-TAGGART responds:

That's because it's a fade in and you're lazy (lol) or your PC is just driving insane.

Okay seriously I don't know but it works pretty well for me.

I like this style of yours, but i get a feeling like every single track you made is same.

Tooooo loooooooong XD

I understand why it is though... (it's godamn trance XD)

I love it though.

This is R4R review. (I'm trying to wake up those guys XD)

I LOVE THE PREVIEW!

What should be done in the full:

-Make louder claps and kicks
-0:29 repeat the melody once more but without any claps and kicks and without voices in background (leave the hissing pause after that)
-After that make louder kicks and claps, but not too loud.
-Repeat once everything you made with a small change (do something like another melody that fits the whole song and with the same kind of sound for melody (no voices in background))

Dj-Gonzo responds:

Thanks for the review and the suggestions! I will try to change the main stucture of the song and raise the volume of the kicks and claps. After I finish exams I will return uploading some projects so stay tuned :D

I really liked the first part, the 2nd part when you speed up the tempo got off, and a little bit of detune made it less the quality than expected (1:53). I love the melody, but in future make sure to change the tempo so it fits the beginning, like this it sounds like 2 songs converted into one... (i made the same mistake at Time Force XD)

Onefin responds:

"the 2nd part when you speed up..." I don't speed up the tempo until 2:45. Did you mean "slow down", perhaps?

"little bit of detune" I can't say I hear what you're referring to. Care to clarify which instrument the detune is present in, and whether you find it too sharp or too flat?

"change the tempo so it fits the beginning" It seems you don't really like tempo changes. In my view, tempo changes are good when used in the right context, which is what I feel like I have done. Care to clarify what bugs you so much about tempo changing?

"2 songs converted into one" Actually, this song is kind of a medley of three different songs from PSMD. So I can see where you're coming from there.

Melody is very nice, but it's wobbling too much. In future, don't make all of the sounds wobble, it ruins the melody (which happened to be perfectly fitting the title of the song).

I'm really sorry about your father... Although, this really sounds depressing. I think at some points, you got far with the effects. The thing is: you started with silent melody, and you expanded it to the point when it turned into a pure noise. I don't know was that planned, but i can't give more than 4 stars on this one.

AlbertAnderson responds:

Thanks. Next time i'll take more time recording what will help the song instead of relying on GB effects to make anything I play work. I could have re-recorded the percussion or even smoothed out the guitar recordings to have the mix play better. I used the first percussion recording I gave and was working out a lot of dissonance with GB. Next time i'll make cleaner recordings that sound better together instead of competing with each other.

This actually sounds very good. You used free voices from FL studio? I like only the background music. The voices aren't combined very well, but it sounds okay. Just make sure next time to just a little bit cut those voices before putting them together. Keep up with good work!

I think this sounds JUST GREAT! By my opinion, this is perfect. It doesn't need anything more.
This could be most likely used in a documentary about nature, or even better: Space. Keep up with great work!

Kind of intense ambient.
Nicely done, but 4 is the most i can give.
I understand that you were in mess, but music isn't something that you do for a few minutes.
The song that i did in a shortest amount of time was Stream Of Light. (I had already done sounds, i just needed to make a melody)
Without the sounds, it would take about a day and a half.
A well done song made from scratch and hard plugins needs about 5 days if you don't have anything to do.
But this is actually good for the short ammount of time that you had.

ORI-TAGGART responds:

Thanks. ^^
Happy that you like it. Cheers. :D
